抟土造人艺术展

前 言

　　抟土造人艺术光荣的创始者：在东方归诸娲皇；西方归诸上帝。我们认为：出现在史前的传说是初民缘于生活所萌发的想象真实。即使是想象所附丽的真实，作为后人，也乐意给以尊重。

　　中国大地之子于庆成的抟土艺术，满蕴东方色采，颇具历史穿透力和感染力。

　　抟土艺术不同于一般意义下的雕塑，它以“塑”为突出的手段。“塑”追求自在，它与刻意求工的“雕”异趋。我们说于庆成“上承娲皇”，正是在这一意义上提出来的。

　　于庆成的艺术，具有粗犷、原始、率真、朴拙的品质，面对当前商品社会中的软媚造作之风，他的艺术语言将会帮助我们面对生活——包括中国人民曾经经历过的苦难生活。

　　因此，我们认为于庆成展览是一次有益的社会实践。

　　Inoriental legends,Nuwa is the Chinese goddess,who created human beings by using and patched sky;In western society,the creation work of man is attributed to God.These legends were something created by early ancestor according to their real life.Though they are imaginations from real life,these legends are still respected by descendants.

　　Yu Qingcheng＇s creation of earth sculpture is based on the oriental culture,with Chinese artistic flavour and historical power to influence.

　　Earth sculpture is different from other traditional sculptures.In Chinese,Diaosu(Sculpture)is combined with two words Diao(Carving)and Su(Molding).Yu＇s earth sculpture is made by Molding without carving work.Molding asculpture can ensure artist to create with a free style.It differs from the carving work,which particularly pay attention to the delicate touches.That is why we say Yu carried on the creation spirit of Nuwa.

　　Yu＇s art works have a simple,primitive,honest but sincere characteristic.In the commodity society,many art works are created for good sale in market.Artist would be affected while facing the choice of seeking real artistic spirit or meeting the demand of market.Yu＇s arts will help us how to face the real life,including the hard time we have experienced.

　　So we think that Yu＇s exhibition will be a useful social practice.
